Corner Shop cat

Corner shop cat is a gregarious sort of fellow, often lounging in plain sight of customers or parading atop the outdoor floral enclosure. However, when I last met him, he barely acknowledged my presence. Seems the enticing feathered prey just out of his grasp proved more interesting this time!

Stub-tail cat

I first met this diminutive and friendly fella when I was returning home from grocery shopping. Unfortunately, I had forgotten my camera. Next shopping trip I had come prepared and the stub-tail kitty was hanging out as usual. He was hard to take a photo of since he was always on the move, figure-eight-ing my legs and wanting to be pet. Very cute. I wonder what he could tell us about his tail. (tail tale?)

The elusive white tiger cat

The largest cat I've seen so far, although rather lifeless.

Roncesvalles cat

I met this friendly little monster amidst all the construction mess that's happening along Roncesvalles Avenue. The trucks and dust didn't get in the way of her precocious spirit as she came right up to me for a sniff and then offered her belly for a rub.

Broadview cat

We spotted this black beauty on the way back from the Downtown Record Show. It had started to drizzle, so this madame or sir stayed dry under her porch roof. Try as I might, she just wouldn't give up her door matted perch to say hello.

Junction cat

Tiny and skittish marmalade kitty was found in a vintage stuffs shop. I tried my hardest to lure the slight fella or lil' lady over to me, but it just wasn't happening. I managed a few blurry phone pictures anyhow. Tiny was always on the move.

Neighbour cat

Tippy is a solid black and white gentleman cat whom I used to reside next to. I still go back from time to time and Tip (named for the white spot on the end of his tail) could be seen prowling the neighbourhood. He's a little charmer who when not getting attention from humans, can be found roaming atop backyard sheds, just out of grasp of the neighbourhood's canine population. The tease!
